Ms. Brigitte Pride (Psychologist)

Brigitte is a warm and engaging Psychologist with experience helping people in both private and public settings. Having gained full registration as a psychologist in 2021, she is currently completing the Masters of Clinical Psychology (Post-Registration) program. As part of her Masters program, she will be completing a 5 month placement with Associated Psychology Practice commencing mid February 2024.

Brigitte is available to help individuals develop the understanding and skills required to self-manage conditions such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and trauma. Her goal is to enable children, teens and adults feel confident in their ability to respond to emotional and psychological distress in safe and healthy ways.

Therapeutic Approaches:

-Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

-Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

-Prolonged Exposure Therapy

Who can Brigitte help?

Brigitte is available to provide individual treatment to children aged 5 and over, adolescents and adults at our Katoomba practice on a Thursday and Kingswood Practice on a Friday.

Brigitte is available to see patients under:

-Mental Health Care Plans

-Self referred patients
